Whether you are joining us for a single introduction day or enrolling in one of our acclaimed Institute of Outdoor Learning (IOL) accredited courses, you can be assured of an engaging, hands-on experience. Our courses are designed to be enjoyable, practical, and realistic, providing participants with genuine Bushcraft and survival skills that can be applied in a range of outdoor settings.
This qualification is intended for learners who wish to gain essential skills and knowledge in Bushcraft and is a great introduction to the world of Bushcraft. It is a hand’s on, practical foray into working with and within the outdoor environment which provides learners with the skills to survive and thrive using natural resources.
The Level 2 Award in Bushcraft Skills was developed with support from the Institute for Outdoor Learning (IOL) and input from the Bushcraft Professional Practice Group (PPG).
The qualification is particularly useful for alternative provision, enrichment activity or those simply with an interest in Bushcraft.
This qualification is composed of one unit.

It is a practical qualification supporting individuals working with and within the outdoor environment which provides learners with the skills to survive and thrive using natural resources.
The Level 3 Certificate in Bushcraft Competency was developed with support from the Institute for Outdoor Learning (IOL) and input from the Bushcraft Professional Practice Group (PPG) as well as other experienced professionals in the sector.
As well as being developed with support from the IOL Bushcraft PPG, the qualification itself is directly mapped to the current IOL Bushcraft Competency standards.
This qualification is composed of two units.

This is ideal for anyone who’s never done bushcraft before and would like to understand the basics of how to survive in the wild. It is also great for parents and children to spend a day out together, having fun and learning new skills. What’s more, this course is a perfect introduction to all our other courses, so will help you if you’re interested in getting into bushcraft but don’t know where to start.
Having gained IOL-accredited bushcraft qualifications, our instructors are able to deliver an assessed award at RQF Level 2 / SCQF Level 5, covering practical and applied bushcraft skills and knowledge designed for pupils and other learners.

This is an assessed award covering bushcraft skills and knowledge suitable for teachers or instructors, giving them the tools to deliver progressive bushcraft learning experiences in their own settings.
Looking for something different and exciting? Come along and challenge yourself, or a group of friends or colleagues, to take on our exciting educational and fun escape and survive exercise. This two-day course will give you everything you need to survive and live off the land. It will also prompt you to use your wits and work as a team to evade an enemy force and escape to safety.
To be able to escape and evade capture, you will need to learn the principles of navigation, how to find north without a compass, pacing and movement day and night. This will all be covered in the first day, after which you will then produce your escape plan.
